When: Saturday, November 7, 3-5pm
Where: Meet in front of the The Dog Run in McCarren Park. Click here for directions.

To be followed by a crunk party at the home of one of the Chairmen TBD.

The game will be played in teams of 2-4. You may RSVP for a group of folks as a team, or else individually and we will put you on one.

The point of this exercise is to:

--find strange and weird shit in Williamsburg
--high-five life

I hope that you will join us all for a day of madness and merriment. Invite friends and holla at me if you got any questions!

Chromium

A bit of exciting news: in case you're a Mac fan and you've been feeling neglected by Google over the non-availability of its Chrome browser for your internet funtime, you may now let out a sigh of relief as Google has finally begun publicly distributing pre-beta dev-channel versions of Chrome to anyone interested in giving it a spin. If the words "pre-beta dev-channel" make your head spin, then you can pass on this one, but it basically means a pre-release version that's allegedly still working out bugs.

Technically, this isn't anything new, as dev-channel versions of Chrome For Mac have been going around since June, but previously a) you had to look hard for a hidden link to download them before and b) the alphas circulating were missing tons of functionality, including the ability to play Flash (ie any videos from YouTube). I picked a copy up a few months ago but haven't used as much for these reasons--however, the dev-channel is now up to version 4.0 and is Flash-functional, so as far as I can tell all that's missing is the ability to print (non-issue for me) and allegedly some plugin capabilities (I haven't yet encountered one that doesn't work). What is definitely true is that Macs go now experience that shockingly fast Chrome browser, the load of time of which is so quick compared to Firefox that it must be seen to be believed.
