Friday, January 01, 2010 Instamatic Explosions  Lil Beau's beau Noah found this rad old Kodak Instamatic camera (which shoots cute and easy-loading albeit shittown 110 cartridge format film) at a yardsale when visiting upstate and we busted it out last night to take photos. Most interesting to me though was the bulb flash it used, which was the above blue-plastic cartridge with eight bulbs each representing one picture. The instamatic I had as a kid had it's own flash, so i'd never seen such a thing and was rather tickled by it. Of course... no idea what if anything we will get from these photos given that the film we used was dated "use before July 1979", but we'll see!
