Thursday, October 08, 2009 War Child  Excuse the shoddy blown up iPhone photo but I didn't wanna freak anyone out by seeming creepier than I already am. Just had a work lunch at the Four Seasons Restaurant to discuss possibly doing an event there, and lo and behold, there's Bono and a crew of serious seeming dudes with British accents (including, I think, U2 bassist Adam Clayton) chowing down on some steaks. I mistakenly had assumed the man was vegetarian, but guess not. Amen, brother. Also, you can't tell by the photo, but I was impressed/dismayed to see that he really never takes those fucking tinted glasses off. I've always had a pet peeve about people who wear sunglasses indoors and Bono takes it to an almost Geordie LaForge level. Weird.
