UPDATED: At 5 AM In Paris The Streets Are Clean (With Photos)

Many hours and one pack of French Marlboro reds later, I arrived home
last night at 5am after wandering the streets of the Left Bank for
hours and hours. I thought about continuing all night but my feet were
tired and my soul was sore.

I was surprised that during my entire walk from 1:30 to 5 am, I found
not a single open bar except the one in front of the apartmen I'm
staying in. At around 4 I finally passed a club under a bridge on the
river but at that point it was mostly nighttime spillage.

In all, it was an evening alone to myself, with my thoughts and my
music. After buying cigarettes at 9, I spoke to no one the entire
night except a man on a bike who stopped me around 3:30 and said as he
rode by, "It's nice taking photos of Paris at night, isn't it?".
