Saturday, February 07, 2009 Breathing Easy The weather broke for warmth today and I decided to go for a bike ride with my friend Mark, for a few loops around Prospect Park. The last time I went out was probably a month ago and probably about 25-30 degrees out. I was (and still am) very much out of shape and it showed. I went out today though, and yes, it was warmer, but I am in no better shape than I was a month ago but I felt great and felt like I could have kept riding for a long time. Mainly, I'm convinced that five weeks of not smoking is making a big difference and that my body is finally feeling healthy and cleared out.
